Overview
I reimagined Little Women through a modern visual lens, designing a set of movie posters and a refreshed book cover. The goal was to translate the story’s warmth, resilience, and emotional depth into a contemporary design language that felt soft, heartfelt, and timeless. I created an original illustration for the cover to capture the sisterhood and quiet strength at the heart of the story.

Book Cover Illustration
I illustrated the four March sisters using Procreate, aiming to capture their unique personalities and the quiet bond they share. The style is soft, expressive, and slightly nostalgic — echoing the tone of the story while giving it a hand-crafted, personal feel. This illustration became the centerpiece of the redesigned book cover, grounding the visual identity in character and emotion.

I designed a series of three movie posters that reflect different emotional facets of Little Women — from quiet introspection to bold independence. Each poster uses a muted, pastel palette and soft textures to echo the story’s period setting and emotional intimacy. Typography was carefully chosen to feel classic yet modern, allowing the visuals to honor the timelessness of the story while appealing to a contemporary audience.

Design Approach
My goal was to reimagine Little Women through a visual language that feels tender, resilient, and emotionally grounded. I leaned into soft pastels, floral accents, and negative space to reflect the novel’s themes of growth, sisterhood, and quiet strength. Typography choices balance classic elegance with modern readability, while every layout was built to evoke a sense of warmth, reflection, and timeless femininity.
